蹈 = ⻊ + 舀 : Don Quixote (d) is trampling (蹈) through the aorta (ao3) practicing a folk dance (蹈) in his cowboy boots (⻊), but he finds there is a small stone in one of his boots and he has to scoop it out (舀) before he can continue.

蚤 = 叉 + 丶 + 虫 : Zorro (z) is eating a bowl of petal leaves (丶) in the aorta (ao3) when he discovers that there are a lot of fleas (叉) and mosquitoes (虫) in his dish. Even as he lifts his fork (叉) to inspect a petal leaf he finds the fleas dancing on the fork's cusps.

眇 = 少 + 目 : Marilyn Monroe (mi), Smiley (少) and the Eye of Providence (目) are meeting in the aorta (ao3) for their meeting of the anonymous blind (眇) because they're all blind in one eye (眇). While Marilyn and Smiley are still able to gaze off into the distance (眇) with their other eye the Eye of Providence is completely blind (眇).
