稻穀

稻 = 禾 + 舀 : Don Quixote (d) is on his new job for the first day in the aorta's bathroom (ao4). He's supposed to work as a scarecrow (稻草人) to protect the rice paddy (稻), but instead he is scooping up (舀) all the rice (稻) and puts it in his cereals (禾).

谷 = 人 + 八 + 口 : Mnemonic symbol: popcorn.

Gitta Giraffe (gu) conducts an experiment in the space station's living room (Ø3). She shows Neanderthal Man (人) three things: a mandarin (口), popcorn (谷), and an eight-ball (八), and records how much he likes to eat each of these. Neanderthal Man thinks that the eight-ball is a little crunchy.
