古 = 十 + 口 : Mnemonic symbol: at least on German maps, this character actually resembles a cloister.

Oh no! Gitta Giraffe (gu) found that the golden cross (十) broke off of the cloister (古) in the space station's living room (Ø3)! She skewers a mandarin (口) on top of the cloister so that she can skewer the broken off cross back on to fix it.

雅 = 牙 + 隹 : Maud Younger's (y) wisdom tooth (牙) hurt a lot, but she found a very elegant (雅) way to get rid of it. In the ashram (a3) she has the sparrow (隹) pull it out for her.

典 = 八 + 曲 : Mnemonic symbol: a head cannon. Dorothy Gale (di) is playing the harp (曲) inside the anthill's living room (an3) while shooting an eight ball (八) from her head cannon (典).
