可 = 丁 + 口 : Karl Marx (k) is challenging his abilities (可) in the elevator's living room (e3). He tries to force a nail (丁) into a mandarin (口), just by using his head. On top of that he tries to do so one thousand times, in order to create a bed of nails (mnemonic symbol for 可).

可 = 丁 + 口 : Alternative mnemonic symbol: kebab, from the pronunciation "ke". Karl Marx (k) is preparing a kebab (mnemonic symbol for 可) in the elevator's living room (e3). He also skewers mandarins (口) on the long steel nails (丁) and will only allow (可) his guests to eat the rest of the kebab if they eat their mandarins first.

扩 = 广 + 扌 : Karl Koala (ku) wants to enlarge (扩) his parachute (广) in the observatory's bathroom (o4), so he stretches it with two toy claws (扌).

展 = 尸 + 井 + 𧘇 : James II of England (zh) and the ghost (尸) developed (展) a new business in the anthill's living room (an3). The ghost scares the visitors so much that they fall into a well (井), and James II of England helps them get out of it using a step ladder (𧘇). As their business grows and develops (展), they can both benefit: the ghost gets to scare lots of people, and James II of England gains lots of street credibility by helping their victims.

标 = 木 + 示 : 标 is a part of 标志, the word for "logo", like the one with the famous puma.

记 = 己 + 讠 : In the space station's bathroom, Joan of Arc sees an advertisement on an advertising column. There are some butcher's hooks advertised which she thinks will be useful on her quest against the king of England, so she takes a voice memo to remind herself to obtain some of the butcher's hooks.

语 = 吾 + 讠 : Yu the Great is seeing some language advertisement on an advertising column in the space station. She decides to paint a big mandarin colored pentagram over the language ad.

言 = 亠 + 二 + 口 : The horizontal lines look like sound waves that emerge from an opening: I'll resemble 言 by a megaphone.

言 = 亠 + 二 + 口 : Maud Younger rushes into anthill and in the kitchen she uses a megaphone to loudly announce that the world revolution will soon start. She also tells the people that she has berets for everyone so that everyone will be able to be in style for the revolution. However she doesn't tell that she prepared the berets in another way: to each beret, she attached a mandarin via two capacitors which forms a formidable antenna, so that after the revolution, she'll be able to transmit her speeches directly to the wearers' brains.
