吐 = 口 + 土 : Tommy Turtle is spitting mandarins at a dusty, muddy earth from inside the space station.

吐 = 口 + 土 : Tommy Turtle (tu) ate too many mandarins (口) in the space station. He can't help but vomit (吐) until he produced a muddy pile of mandarins (口) in the bathroom (Ø4).

谷 = 人 + 八 + 口 : Mnemonic symbol: popcorn.

Gitta Giraffe (gu) conducts an experiment in the space station's living room (Ø3). She shows Neanderthal Man (人) three things: a mandarin (口), popcorn (谷), and an eight-ball (八), and records how much he likes to eat each of these. Neanderthal Man thinks that the eight-ball is a little crunchy.

浑 = 军 + 氵 : Helga Horse (hu) and the general (军) are partying in the encampment's kitchen ((e)n2). The general hands her a water bottle (氵), but the liquid inside seems very muddy (浑). Helga suspects that the general mixed (浑) her a drink she shouldn't drink.
