土 = 十 + 一 : Tommy Turtle (tu) wants to fix a cross (十) on a flute (一) in the space station's living room (Ø3). He uses dust and clay (土) to hold them together.

其 = 目 + 八 : Mnemonic symbol: the shape of 其 looks like a watchtower. The Queen of Hearts (qi) is on lookout on the watchtower (其) in the space station's kitchen (Ø2). The Eye of Providence (目) helps her to look out for intruders. They also spread some eight balls (八) for possible intruders to trip on.

石 = 丆 + 口 : Sherlock Holmes finds the space station's entrance blocked by a big rock. He uses a wind wheel and a mandarin to build a lever, with which he is able to move the rock.
