急性阑尾炎

急 = 刍 + 心 : Joan of Arc just arrived at the space station and although she has to go to the bathroom very urgently, she first has to clear the way of a big fluffy heart using a lawn mower.

性 = 忄 + 生 : Marie Curie had a strong character since she was little. Even in her cradle in the engine's bathroom she was only playing with a flail.

尾 = 尸 + 毛 : Willy Walrus (w) knows that there is a ghost (尸) in the Eiffel Tower (ei3), but he cannot see it, so he set up a trap: he put a lot of sticky hair (毛) everywhere, and eventually the hair stuck to the ghost's tail (尾). Now that Willy Walrus can see where the ghost is he is able to drive it out.

炎 = 火 : Mnemonic symbol: As I just learned "itis" is the feeling you get after eating too much.

Maud Younger (y) ate too much in the anthill's kitchen (an2). She's having the itis (炎) so hard that she doesn't even wake up from the fire (火) which is spreading fast.
