戈壁沙漠

戈 = 丿 + 弋 : Guy Fawkes (g) practises his archery skills in front of the elevator (e1). He uses a bow (弋) to shoot a spear (戈) right into a banana (丿).

壁 = 土 + 辟 : Brunhilde (bi) was checking out the safety of the space station and found that the bathroom (Ø4) is a weak spot in the defence line if there should be any attacker. Thus, she decided to build a rampart (壁). She cannot do it alone though, so she asked the jade dragon (辟) for help. Together, they build the rampart out of earth (土). In this way, they will be able to fend off (辟) any intruder.

沙 = 少 + 氵 : Sherlock Holmes (sh) is selling bottles (氵) in front of the ashram (a1). Smiley (少) comes round because thon is very thirsty and buys a bottle, just to find out that it contains only sand (沙).

漠 = 氵 + 莫 : The desert (漠) is advancing into observatory's bathroom (o4), but Mozart (莫) and Mahatma Gandhi (m) are very unconcerned (漠) because they stockpiled a lot of water bottles (氵).
