歌功頌德

歌 = 哥 + 欠 : Guy Fawkes (g) lost a bet to his elder brother (哥) Godzilla (哥), who is waving with the IOU (欠) note Guy Fawkes signed when they made that bet. Now he'll have to sing a song (歌) to Godzilla in front of the elevator (e1).

功 = 力 + 工 : Gitta Giraffe (gu) practices her Kung Fu skills (功) in front of the engine ((e)ng1) with a sparring robot made out of steel beams (工). The robot is programmed to fight Kung Fu (功), but Gitta Giraffe's Kung Fu is better: she hits the robots power button (力) and turns it off.

颂 = 公 + 页 : Susan Saint Bernard (su) loves the bus (公) which is frequently driving through engine's bathroom ((e)ng4). One day she decides to write an ode (颂) for the bus on a sheet of paper (页).

德 = 彳 + 十 + 皿 + 一 + 心 : Goethe (歌德) and Don Quixote (d) got into a discussion about ethics (德) and the moral (德) implications of wearing black sneakers (彳) just inside the elevator's kitchen (e2) which escalated pretty quickly. Now they are even not discussing anymore: instead, Don Quixote is ramming a flute (一) into Goethe's heart (心) with a cross (十) which he uses as a hammer. He doesn't want to make a mess though so he collects the blood flowing out of the other end of the flute in a shallow bowl (皿).
